What We Believe About God
We believe in one God who exists in three distinct persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God who came to this earth as the Saviour of the world. Jesus died on the cross and shed His blood for our sins. We believe that salvation is found by placing our faith in what Jesus did for us on the cross. We believe Jesus rose from the dead and is coming again.
Baptism “Water” is a symbol of the cleansing power of the blood of Christ and a testimony to our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe there is eternal life after death.

Foundational Truths of Our Faith

The One True God
We believe in one true God — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — the Creator and Sustainer of all things.
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God and the final authority for faith and life.
Jesus Christ
We believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose again, and will return in glory.
Salvation
We believe salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, resulting in new life through the work of the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the power, gifts, and work of the Holy Spirit, who empowers believers to live holy and victorious lives.
The Church
We believe the Church is the body of Christ, called to worship God, disciple believers, and share the Gospel with all nations.

Gateway Gospel Church has a heart for reaching beyond church walls. We are actively involved in outreach and mission efforts locally and internationally, including India and Sri Lanka.
Through compassion ministries, charitable support, and prayer, we seek to demonstrate God's love to those in need and share the hope of the Gospel across communities and nations.

Meet Our Pastor
Pastor Andrew Bala
Senior Pastor
Pastor Andrew Bala carries a shepherd's heart for people from all walks of life. He believes strongly in walking alongside individuals and families through prayer, counsel, and encouragement, trusting God to bring healing, restoration, and direction. His pastoral approach is grounded in compassion, humility, and a genuine desire to see lives transformed by the love of Christ.
He has a burden for the Tamil community, both locally and globally, and is passionate about preserving faith across generations. Through preaching, teaching, and personal ministry, Pastor Andrew seeks to raise believers who are rooted in Scripture, led by the Spirit, and bold in their witness for Christ.
Beyond the pulpit, Pastor Andrew values building strong relationships within the church family. He encourages unity, fellowship, and active participation in the life of the church, believing that spiritual growth flourishes best in a loving and connected community.
With a vision to see God's Kingdom expanded, Pastor Andrew also supports missions and outreach efforts, reaching those in need with the Gospel and practical care. His leadership continues to guide Gateway Gospel Church as a place where God's presence is honored, His Word is proclaimed, and His people are equipped to serve.
